Pushes are distinct from flows in that they are designed for one-off campaign sends, allowing you to target your audience at any point in time without the need for a trigger or user action. Here’s how pushes work and how to set them up:

How Pushes Work

Pushes are one-off messages sent to a targeted audience. They are ideal for timely campaigns and announcements. Pushes allow you to select specific audiences for more tailored and personalized messaging.

Example Use Cases for Pushes

  • Onsite Promotions: Give subscribers access to exclusive promos available onsite.

  • Product Alerts: Share alerts about new product drops.

  • Geo-Targeted Campaigns: Send messages targeted by location for in-person events and activations.

Creating a Push

To create a push campaign, follow these steps:

  1. Create a Push: Within your campaign folder, select "Create Push +."

  2. Select an Audience: Search for and select the desired audience you want to target with the push message.

    • If you need to build a new segment, select "I want to create a custom audience."

  3. Build Your Message: Click next and continue to build your push messaging. (Link: Presentation of the Builder: Overview of the Flow Builder Tool.)

  4. Activate the Push: Once the audience and messaging are both ready, click "Publish This Flow." You will have the option to "Send Now" or "Schedule for Later."

By understanding and utilizing pushes effectively, you can execute timely, targeted campaigns that engage your audience with relevant and personalized messages at just the right moments.
