To get started you need to have a Facebook page & Instagram Account! More specifically, you'll need not just any old FB page, but you'll have to also have a Facebook Business Manager account.
Facebook Business Manager allows you to manage all your "business" assets related to Facebook & Instagram. This includes your pages, Ads Manager, and other business-related assets (like Drop!).

Depending on whether or not you already have a Facebook page established to your brand, and connected to your IG, it will change your sign-up process.
You'll have to either add an existing page to your Facebook Business Manager account or create a new one.
After you have everything set on the Facebook side, you can move to Instagram.
Be sure your IG is also connected to your Facebook page. Please remember that your IG account has to be a business account.
Syncing your FB & IG will allow you to personalize your audience's experience and here's how you can do it:
From Facebook
Login to FB & click Pages in the left menu.
Click Settings.
Scroll down & select Instagram in the left column.
Click Connect Account, and fill in your Instagram username and password.
From Instagram
Log in to Instagram and go to your profile.
Tap Edit Profile.
Under Public Business/Profile Information, select Page.
Choose the Facebook page you wish to connect to.
